About Our Chapter
STRENGTH THROUGH ASSOCIATION A COLLECTIVE VOICE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Home ownership strengthens our families and fosters economic prosperity. New homes bring infrastructure such as schools, fire stations, parks and cultural centers that enrich our communities. The BIA is the strongest advocate on behalf of the building industry.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS ADVOCACY: The BIA fights to cut through red tape and unnecessary regulation to clear the path for new home construction and job creation. Your membership is critical in amplifying your voice and furthering the collective advocacy efforts of the Industry, because together we are stronger.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: The BIA is your place to network with the region’s largest builders, developers, consultants, and contractors to build your business and increase your bottom line.
EDUCATION & INDUSTRY INFORMATION: The BIA provides you valuable educational tools and is your source for the latest news and trends impacting your business.
The BUILDING INDUSTRY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Our 1,300 members include the smallest to the largest home builders, developers, contractors, suppliers and skilled labor representing over 1 million employees and 10 billion in annual revenues, making us one of the largest building industry associations in the United States.
Our services are essential to the success of our members.
For over 90 years, we have provided a collective voice in the public policy arena helping builders continue to do business in California’s complex regulatory environment including front-line knowledge of proposed/new laws, policies, and procedures that could directly affect your business.
Our Association is committed to preserving a legal/regulatory environment that is conducive to the success of home builders and affiliated trades, and to helping members function within that environment.
We serve as the voice of the Building Industry in Riverside County. We advocate on your behalf to provide an environment which enables the Industry to meet current and future housing needs throughout the region. Together, we build quality communities for families to realize the American Dream of home ownership.
