BIA LOT (Leaders of Tomorrow) Builder Unplugged was held in Beaumont at the new active adult community of ALTIS by Pardee Homes. Each year we highlight a new builder community within Riverside County and provide a dynamic panel of speakers to share about the project as well as some candid moments from their career that would be an inspiration for our Leaders of Tomorrow. This year marks another engaging event with our panelist.
Nate Smith - LOT Chair, Moderator and Associate of Rick Engineering engaged the panel of speakers with some great candid questions. Mike Taylor - BIA Riverside 2019 Chapter President, Division President of Pardee Homes shared insights on how ALTIS came about, the strategies Pardee implemented to create their first active adult community in the Inland Empire. He also spoke of challenges during the project and how Pardee’s team came together to problem. Mike provided insights to his own career path and words of wisdom on leadership, and lesson learned along the way.
Christopher Alberts, Office Manger of Michael Baker International and his team provided engineering services during the land development phases of ALTIS and surrounding developments. He graciously shared nuggets on successes and challenges his team faced along the way to make ALTIS possible. Our third panelist Adam Rush, Community Development Director for City of Banning expanded on what was new within development for the city.
Attendees were treated to a BBQ buffet and some lucky few won raffle prizes while enjoying the summer breeze and breathing views of San Gorgonio Mountains. As always we appreciate our members for the support in making LOT Builder Unplugged a success. Special thank you to our Premier Sponsor, Geocon West, along with our Signature and Supporting sponsors.
