Margaret Lukman was born and raised in the Inland Empire. She attended the University of California Riverside, receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. While studying at UC Riverside, Margaret worked in the Telecommunications Department as an operator. She also became an active member of the Epsilon Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity. She was selected as a representative for Leadership Academy in Columbus, Ohio where she attended a rigorous leadership course. Margaret has continued her involvement through Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association and is currently serving as President for Epsilon Pi Chapter House Board Advisory Committee.
Margaret has an extensive history of community involvement in the Inland Region. She has also extended her volunteer services in Mexico and in Costa Rica. Margaret is a member of Girl Scouts of America Alumnae Association. She received the highest honor that a woman can receive, the Gold Award, for her Health & Safety Awareness project in 2008. Margaret has served as a District Representative for California State Assemblyman Eric Linder in Riverside County. She has also worked with California State Assemblyman Jeff Miller, 71st Assembly District. During the Jeff Miller for State Senate Campaign, Margaret served as Finance Director. Margaret is also a current member of Corona Norco Republican Women, Federated. Most recently, Margaret became a member of the Marketing Committee for Peppermint Ridge which is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing loving homes and empowering support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. She is also involved in her local church Young Adult Ministry.
She currently resides in Corona, California with her two dogs, Angel and Po. Margaret loves animals, has a passion for culture and traveling, enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
