New Collaboration Brings Size, Strength and Exciting New Changes to the 2010 Building Industry Show

We're just one week away from the largest and most exciting building industry trade show in Southern California!

Despite the tough economic climate, this year’s Building Industry Show (or BIS) November 18 & 19 at the Long Beach Convention Center will get the housing industry bouncing back with a completely reinvented BIS Show experience.  For the first time, the two largest homebuilding associations in California, the BIA of Southern California and the BIA of San Diego, have joined forces to collaborate on BIS, making it the largest regional tradeshow of its kind.

This year, attendees and exhibitors can expect a redesigned exhibit floor plan and several new activity hubs throughout the show floor.

One of the new hubs will be the Green Pavilion, which will feature an architecturally designed theater dedicated to informative seminars on new green codes, innovative green building solutions and products.  The second hub is the Design Pavilion, which will offer new insight from leading architects, interior designers and landscape architects.

For all those needing their daily caffeine fix, Starbucks is now going to be available on the showroom floor providing yet another opportunity to connect with attendees and exhibitors all on the show floor.

Also, it's very important to note that since the show is put on by the BIA, all proceeds go back into the association to build programs and provide better service for BIA members.
