3RD ANNUAL PROJECT PLAYHOUSE PET EDITION FUNDRAISER OCTOBER 26TH AT THE CROSSINGS AT CORONA SHOPPING CENTER

HomeAid Inland Empire (HAIE) announces its 3rd Annual Project Playhouse Pet Edition fundraising event to be held Sunday October 26, 2014 at The Crossings at Corona Shopping Center. Diane Fradkin with Developer’s Edge and Lisa Morris of BMG Advertising will serve as the 2014 co-chairs. The Dog Daze event will return with its red carpet pet walk and costume contest for prizes awarded in various categories.

 Creatively themed pet houses will be raffled and auctioned to help provide funding for HomeAid Inland Empire’s Shelter Development Program. The Shelter Development Program renovates and builds quality shelter facilities to temporarily house homeless individuals and families in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

 The Project Playhouse Pet Edition Pet House Village will be open daily from October 18-26 at the fountain area in front of the Edwards Stadium 18 movie theater. View the custom-built pet houses and purchase $5 raffle tickets for an opportunity to win a pet house. A select few pet houses will be auctioned to the highest bidder on October 26th with registration and confirmed online bids starting October 18th.

The pet houses created for this year’s Project Playhouse Pet Edition will be built and donated by: American Landscape, Fred Agudelo Construction, Crestwood Communities, Holt Architects, Tilden-Coil Constructors, JNL Construction, KB Home, Pardee Homes, Prospect Mortgage and United Production Framing.

Since 1990 HAIE, the non-profit charity of the Baldy View and Riverside County Building Industry Association (BIA) chapters, has renovated/built 31 homeless shelters housing 807 beds. The value of these facilities is over $17.1 million with more than $6.4 million in funding and in-kind donations of labor and materials provided by BIA members.

HomeAid Inland Empire is currently working with 13 service provider partners who will also benefit from the proceeds of Project Playhouse Pet Edition. Our partners include:  Olive Crest, Operation SafeHouse, Path of Life Ministries, Mary’s Mercy Center/Veronica’s Home of Mercy, Foothill Family Shelter, Corona Norco Rescue Mission, Project T.O.U.C.H., Family Assistance Program Our House Youth Shelter, Lutheran Social Services (LSS), Valley Restart Shelter, Operation Grace, U.S. Vets and the Victor Valley Rescue Mission.
